Verify what CDW/TP covers, whether there is coverage for windows, tires, and undercarriage, the deductible amount and possibility to reduce it, and what is excluded to avoid unexpected costs.
Confirm payment method and deposit in advance
Ensure an international physical credit card in the main driver's name, sufficient available line for the block amount, and supplier's deposit conditions. Debit or prepaid cards are usually not accepted at the pick-up counter.
Check mileage, tolls, and interstate travel
Does the rental include unlimited mileage, is a vignette or toll device required, and what is needed for border crossing—permits, fees, and appropriate insurance.
