Opening hours vary between suppliers and branches: airport locations generally have longer hours, while urban branches may have shorter hours and sometimes are not open every day of the week. Therefore, it's important to confirm in advance that your chosen station is open at the time of pickup or return, to receive the car conveniently. Planning tip: if you plan to drive out of the city immediately after landing, picking up at the airport will save unnecessary transfers. If most of your stay is in Manhattan, it may be worthwhile to pick up the car only on the day of departure and return it in another city – an option sometimes available subject to a one-way return fee. In any case, we recommend allowing reasonable time intervals between landing/check-out and the pickup time, and checking the instructions for reaching the station (shuttles, airport trains, or a short walk) in advance, to start your New York trip smoothly and pleasantly.

Check the Fuel Policy
Choose Full-to-Full policy when possible – return full and be charged only for what you used. Photograph the fuel gauge and last refueling receipt to avoid disputes.
Prepare a Suitable Credit Card for Deposit
In most destinations, a real international credit card (not debit) in the main driver's name is required for blocking. Ensure sufficient credit limit and matching names to passport and reservation.
International Driver's License – When Needed?
In some countries, an international driver's license is required in addition to the Israeli one. It's recommended to obtain it in advance at the post office and carry both licenses just in case.
Understand the Insurance Coverage
Check what's included: zero deductible, third-party damage, theft, glass/tires. Keep coverage confirmations and check deductible amounts to avoid surprises at the counter.
