Many other stations are spread throughout Krakow, allowing you to choose where to pick up and return the car. You can adjust the pickup point to your itinerary: staying downtown? It might be better to pick up near the central station; an early flight? Returning at the airport may save time. One-way pickup and return options are sometimes available, subject to booking conditions and supplier approval.
For your convenience, the stations in the city center and at the train station offer excellent access by public transport, so you can easily reach the pickup point even without a car. Credit Card in the Main Driver's Name
A physical international credit card in the main driver's name is usually required, with a sufficient limit for the deposit. Debit/prepaid cards are generally not accepted for the deposit.
International Driving Permit (IDP)
In many countries, you will be required to present an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside your Israeli license. It is recommended to issue in advance through the licensing authority, especially when the driver's name is not in English/Latin or in countries that require it.
Understand Insurance and Excess
Check what coverage is included (such as CDW/TP) and the amount of the excess. Sometimes windshields, tires, roof, and undercarriage are not covered by default and additional coverage to reduce or waive the excess can be added.
Vehicle Inspection and Documentation at Pickup and Return
At pickup, go over the vehicle with a representative and document scratches, tires, and fuel level, ensuring they are recorded in the contract. Short photos on a smartphone can save disputes upon return.
